| am Gary, your Trainer

Have you ever wanted to become a counsellor?

I have been a counsellor for over 10 years and I offer online counselling services worldwide. Why do we need counsellors? The word counsellor means 'to come alongside'. We are there to help people come from a place of 'pain' and journey with them in their healing.

Since mental health issues are on the rise, we need good counsellors to support people.  It is my passion to train up counsellors who will be empathetic, non-judgemental and create a 'safe space' for clients. So, are you ready to start your training?

My story

Together we can do this!

How did I become a counsellor? It is a question many of my clients ask me. The story really begins in my childhood. I faced a great deal of trauma when I was young, with my father leaving the family home. I became an angry person, which revealed itself in regular outbursts during my teenage years and even into adulthood.

I never believed that counselling would work for me, but I realised I needed to get help. A counsellor was recommended to me by a work colleague. I reluctantly called them but I can honestly say that it was the best decision I made, because it totally changed my life.

After my healing process was complete, I wanted to help others become free from their trauma and pain. I retrained and became an accredited counsellor. with ACCPH.

The need for counselling and therapy is rising, and getting good quality and empathetic counsellors are essential in helping anyone on their healing journey. I designed this course based on the training I have received and also from my experiences in the counselling room. I believe you will find this course valuable in your quest to becoming a counsellor.
